On a more serious note, I find this whole listing idea very intriguing. What exactly makes people make lists? I am going to sound like Samuel Coleridge here, please bear with me.
People can make lists for various reasons.
1 It might be to help remember a lot of things to be done or to get done, like shopping lists.
2 Or it might serve as motivation to better oneself or achieve goals. Like wish lists.
3 It might serve as a powerful arguement tool. When you want to fight someone and win.
(it makes sense to make a list of the other persons shortcomings beforehand and then go on to blast the hell out of that person when actually engaged in war. Use the gyaan at your own risk. Injurious to health.)
4 It might serve as a guide, like listing out the points when you want to write an official letter or essay or anything.
5 Then it might help you in taking stock of what you hava and not have. Like inventories, giving you definite pointers to look at areas neglected, that need attention and care.
6 Last but not the least, it can be great fun!
